Individual Therapy
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety even though you’re used to functioning at a high level? Are you wanting to heal your wounds so you can face your days with more clarity and confidence?
Are you navigating a life transition that’s left you uncertain or off balance?
Individual therapy is a space to slow down, gain understanding and work through any barriers holding you back. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, feeling stuck in old patterns, or facing a big life change, therapy can help you build insight, manage emotions more effectively, and create real, lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices for anxiety, trauma recovery, and behavior change. I take a human-centered approach to utilize modalities tailored to your specific needs including EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, exposure therapy, narrative therapy and parts work. I maintain a trauma-informed framework in all modalities. I offer practical tools alongside deeper exploration so you can better understand yourself, heal, and respond to challenges with clarity and confidence.
I specialize in anxiety, overwhelm, relationship issues, and family of origin work. I work especially well with high-achieving and perfectionistic adults and adolescents who may look like they have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. In additional to traditional therapy, I think therapy can work like a gym where you proactively strengthen your emotional resilience to manage the stressors of daily life. Together, we work to build resilience to quiet the inner critic, heal the root of the problem, and find a more sustainable way of living that aligns with your values—not just your expectations of yourself.
As a Life Transitions Specialist, I also truly enjoy helping clients through important life transitions, including the transition to parenthood, empty nesting, career changes, and divorce recovery. These experiences often bring a mix of loss, growth, and uncertainty, and therapy can provide steady guidance to support you in finding your way to successful change.
At the heart of my work is the belief that we function in relational systems and healing ourselves leads to deeper self-trust in navigating connections with others.
